MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Rockport is seeking a board certified/eligible orthopedic surgeon to join our expanding, team-based practice serving coastal Knox and Waldo Counties. This position is ideal for a general orthopedic surgeon with a strong interest in knee procedures, who values a collaborative environment and diverse clinical practice.

The role includes clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME, with 1:10 weekend call and 1:4

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training welcomed but not required; knee procedures preferred.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedic surgery care with emphasis on knee procedures.
• Practice sites: Rockport and Belfast, ME, with daytime OR and clinic responsibilities.
• Call coverage: 1:10 weekends and 1:4 weekdays, based out of Rockport, ME.
• Collaborate in a team-based, community-focused orthopedic practice.
