Novant Health Cancer Institute-New Hanover in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible hematologist/oncologist to join a growing, outpatient-focused team. The practice emphasizes patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a robust research portfolio.

Candidates will participate in tumor boards, clinics, and nurse navigation; opportunities for academic involvement with UNC School of Medicine; call schedule of 1 in 10; relocation and CME allowances provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Adult patient population (18+).
• Leadership experience or aspirations encouraged.
• Open to new graduates and experienced clinicians.

Responsabilités

• Predominantly outpatient practice based in Wilmington, NC.
• Care delivered across multiple locations in the region.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation, surgical, gynecologic oncology, and pathology.
• Active participation in tumor boards and multidisciplinary clinics.
• Involvement in hospice and palliative care.
• Academic involvement through UNC School of Medicine with clinical professorships.
• Robust clinical research portfolio supported by Novant Health and UNC partnerships.
• Call schedule: 1 in 10; inpatient care supported by hospitalist team.
