Job summary

Britt Medical Search is assisting a community-based cancer program in eastern North Carolina to recruit a BE/BC, fellowship-trained Hematologist-Oncologist.

You will provide inpatient and outpatient care, develop treatment plans, oversee chemotherapy, participate in tumor boards, and round at the local hospital.

The cancer center includes 12 infusion spaces, 10 exam rooms, experienced nurses and navigators, strong referral base and multidisciplinary support; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Hematologist-Oncologist required or board eligible.
• Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology preferred.
• Experience in community-based cancer care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Oversee chemotherapy administration.
• Participate in tumor boards and hospital rounds.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary cancer-center activities.
