Adventist Health Tillamook seeks a hands-on Medical Assistant to support physicians with routine clinical duties and specimen handling. You will collect venous blood, assist with exams, and help prepare specimens and equipment for use in a busy rural healthcare setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Basic Life Support certification, and willingness to pursue additional credentials such as CMA/RMA or phlebotomy certification as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred, or equivalent licensure/experience.
• Audiometry and vision training completion or CHDP certificate within six months preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up exam rooms and check in patients, maintain recall system and lab-related logs.
• Obtain vital signs and report significant findings to the clinic physician.
• Perform venipunctures; conduct audiometry and vision testing as needed.
• Model, mentor and train staff on technical skills.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
