Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa's Meridian Restaurant and Bar on the Oregon coast is hiring a dedicated dishwasher to join our culinary team. You will keep dishware, pots, and prep surfaces clean and organized, help maintain food safety standards, and ensure supplies are ready for service.

This is a hands-on, physical role in a bustling kitchen. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; candidates should be reliable, team oriented, and able to work under pressure in a hot, damp

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during busy times.
• Must be able to use cleaning compounds and cleaning products.
• Exercise sound judgment and possess good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
