Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a PFG unit, seeks a field sales professional to develop independent accounts across Coastal Lowlands RI from Westerly to Kingston. You will drive new and existing business, promote company products, and work to maximize market share in a dynamic foodservice market.

The role offers a pay structure with uncapped commissions plus monthly and annual bonuses, along with eight weeks of training, mentorship, and ongoing industry education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid Drivers License.
• 2+ years of related outside sales experience OR culinary/restaurant management background strongly preferred.
• Must live in southern Rhode Island area and cover Westerly to Kingston.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing territory and customers and planning sales approach.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries and credit terms.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and handles urgent deliveries when required.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration.
• Monitors accounts receivable and pricing trends within the territory.
