Chart House Dana Point is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team at a premier waterfront destination in Dana Point, CA. This high-volume, upscale dining setting focuses on seafood and steaks and offers growth opportunities within a respected hospitality organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of culinary management in upscale/fine dining.
• Strong back-of-house operations knowledge including staff supervision, inventory controls, and cost management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellence in guest satisfaction with a hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
• Assist Executive Chef in managing all back-of-house staff and ongoing training/development.
• Help achieve or exceed budgeted labor and other cost centers through planning and execution.
• Oversee weekly/monthly inventories and purchasing of food and supplies.
• Maintain sanitation procedures and OSHA-compliant work areas.
