Job summary

Sage Restaurant Group seeks a friendly server for the Coastal Farmer concept at the Dune House Hotel and Spa in Atlantic Beach, FL. Under general supervision, you will provide prompt and courteous food service to restaurant guests.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health standards. You will present a professional appearance and uphold Sage’s welcoming hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months experience in a similar server role.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders, serve and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain attentive service throughout dining, upholding standards.
• Complete restocking and cleaning duties during opening/closing sidework.
• Memorize menu items and specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, wait stations and service areas.
• Handle guest checks and payments accurately.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to improve communication and knowledge.
• Respond to customer inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
