Job summary

DDG is seeking a Coastal Engineering Project Manager in Covington, LA to supervise civil design and permitting for commercial, industrial, municipal projects. You will guide teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure high-quality client service.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in civil/coastal engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and staff across phases from preliminary design to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar field.
• Path toward professional licensure with 4+ years civil/coastal experience.
• Experience in commercial land development: drainage, utilities, grading.
• Proficiency in civil CAD drafting and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote DDG's core values and comply with the company manual.
• Efficiently produce site civil/coastal engineering and land development plans.
• Create drainage, grading, water and wastewater plans for projects.
• Prepare drainage and cut/fill calculations.
• Visualize designs for land development across industrial, commercial, municipal.
• Respect budget constraints and support project timelines.
• Integrate DDG CAD standards and client design criteria.
• Collaborate with project team to establish timelines and designs.
• Review environmental, wetland, geotechnical, and traffic reports.
• Attend client meetings to understand needs and present solutions.
• Continuously learn from assignments and mentor others.
