Ducks Unlimited in Lafayette, Louisiana, is seeking an E.I.T. to join their team focused on wetland and habitat restoration. The role involves collaborating with biologists and engineers on various projects and requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering, as well as experience with AutoCAD. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to operate both ATVs and boats.

Applicants must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and be registered as an Engineer in Training. The position entails inspections and ensuring compliance on construction projects while representing Ducks Unlimited with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and registered as an Engineer in Training.
• Experience working independently in various weather conditions and remote environments.
• Ability to travel overnight and engage in extended travel.

Responsabilités

• Assist with project designs and plan production using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Help with data collection and construction management.
• Represent Ducks Unlimited on construction projects with inspections.
