The City of Lincoln City invites applications for a full-time Content Coordinator to create, curate, and share engaging written, visual, and digital content across dynamic channels to inspire visitation and support economic development.

You'll serve as a storyteller and producer, collaborating with local businesses and events to capture the Lincoln City experience and promote it as a premier coastal destination through website, social media, newsletters, and print materials.

Qualifications

• Proficient with content distribution channels including online and social media.
• Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills, including copywriting, storytelling, editing, proofreading, and photo/video production.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms.
• Working knowledge of web-based content management systems such as WordPress or Craft and SEO best practices.
• Detail oriented, creative self-starter with a strong audience understanding.
• Independent worker with tact and courtesy in dealing with government officials, media, and the public.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
• Intermediate experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Flexible working hours including some nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Develop, shape, and distribute compelling written, visual, and digital content across social media and digital marketing channels.
• Tell Lincoln City’s story as a storyteller, producer, and curator of original content through photography, video, and writing.
• Share content across owned, earned, and paid platforms including website, social media, newsletters, PR efforts, and print materials.
• Engage with local businesses, attractions, and community events to authentically represent the visitor experience.
• Showcase Lincoln City as a premier coastal destination.
