Medical Edge is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a full-time, employed role in a high-volume program in Charleston, SC. The position offers collaboration with cardiology, intensivists, vascular surgery and a dedicated CVOR team.

Enjoy access to advanced operating suites, hybrid ORs, and a strong referral base for immediate case volume. The candidate should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery, have fellowship training, and be experienced in CABG, valve

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
• Experience with CABG, valve, and thoracic procedures preferred.
• Minimally invasive and robotic surgery experience welcomed.
• Eligible for state medical licensure; commitment to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert cardiothoracic surgery care in a high-volume program.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, vascular surgeons and CVOR staff.
• Participate in quality initiatives and program growth.
• Share call schedule to support work-life balance.
