Job summary

Medical Edge in Georgia is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a premier, hospital-employed program along the Southeast Coast. You'll practice the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, thoracic procedures, and minimally invasive techniques in state-of-the-art hybrid ORs and a CVICU.

Collaborate with an experienced Heart & Vascular team, receive APP support, participate in quality initiatives and program development, and enjoy a competitive call

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Completion of fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
• Experience with adult cardiac surgery, CABG and valve procedures.
• Minimally invasive and robotic surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery including CABG, valve, thoracic procedures.

Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Southeast Coastal Opportunity Position Highlights Join a premier, hospital-employed Cardiothoracic Surgery program in Southern Major Metro Full-time opportunity with an established referral network and immediate surgical volume Practice the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve surgery, thoracic procedures, and minimally invasive techniques State-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms, CVICU, and advanced cardiovascular technology Collaborate with an experienced Heart & Vascular team including Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Advanced Practice Providers Dedicated CVOR staff, APP support, and strong hospital leadership committed to program growth Opportunity to participate in quality initiatives, structural heart program development, and multidisciplinary cardiovascular care Competitive call schedule promoting work-life balance

Qualified Candidates
