Job summary

The Georgia Lottery Corporation seeks a meticulous investigator to conduct compliance inspections and investigations within districts to enforce COAM laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include inspecting licenses, records and equipment at COAM locations and master license facilities, documenting findings, issuing non-compliance citations, and presenting evidence in hearings and court proceedings. A background in criminal justice or law enforcement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Political Science or related field.
• 3–5 years investigative experience in criminal process, civil liability, and evidence handling.
• COAM/gaming experience preferred.
• Peace Officer and Instructor certifications preferred but not required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with clean MVR.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• All applicants must meet the job eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect licenses, records and equipment at COAM locations and master license facilities.
• Prepare detailed reports and issue citations for non‑compliance.
• Interview witnesses and others involved in investigations.
• Present findings in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
• Assist law enforcement, prosecutors, witnesses, players and other GLD departments.
