Job summary

Talarico for Texas is seeking a full‑time Coalitions Manager to support the campaign's coalition engagement program and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders across Texas. The role is based in Austin with statewide travel and reports to the Deputy Coalitions Director.

The position emphasizes outreach, event logistics, and coordination across constituency groups, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced political campaign.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of campaign, organizing, nonprofit, advocacy, or community engagement experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced campaign environment.
  • Passion for coalition‑building, community engagement, and Texas politics.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Familiarity with GSuite, Microsoft Office, and organizing tools preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Support coalition outreach and engagement efforts across multiple constituency groups and regions.
  • Help coordinate community events, coalition meetings, roundtables, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Maintain outreach trackers, stakeholder databases, and follow‑up systems.
  • Assist with drafting outreach emails, briefing materials, meeting notes, and event logistics documents.
  • Conduct research on organizations, community leaders, and coalition opportunities.
  • Support scheduling and staffing for coalition‑related events and meetings.
  • Help ensure timely follow‑up and relationship maintenance with coalition partners and stakeholder
  • Assist with surrogate and validator engagement efforts across the campaign.

About the Role

Talarico for Texas is building a people-powered campaign rooted in grassroots support, integrity, and the belief that politics should work for everyday Texans. James Talarico’s campaign for the U.S. Senate is committed to engaging communities across Texas through authentic relationships and meaningful partnerships. We are seeking a full‑time Coalitions Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of the campaign’s coalition engagement program and help strengthen relationships with community stakeholders across the state.

Reports to: Deputy Coalitions Director

Location: Austin, Texas (Statewide Travel Required)

Salary: $6,000 per month
