Job summary

Soccer Shots Indiana is hiring a Coaching Coordinator to support a growing team of coaches and deliver our character-building soccer program for 2-8 year olds. You will train new coaches, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality coaching aligned with our core values.

This full-time role includes collaborating with the DOC on hiring, onboarding, and season planning, coordinating equipment and materials, and traveling occasionally to Fort Wayne and South Bend.

Qualifications

• Strong communication in writing and speaking.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Passion for Soccer Shots mission.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Experience mentoring/coaching peers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DOC on new coach hiring, orientation and onboarding
• Train new coaches
• Mentor and supervise a team of up to 20 coaches
• Conduct coach evaluations
• Conduct 1:1 coach check-ins
• Provide coaches with needed equipment, participant prizes and marketing materials
• Keep coaches accountable to program and brand standards
• Collaborate with Soccer Shots directors and fellow coordinators regarding season planning and improvement of program quality
• Actively take part in the coaching department tasks related to the successful rollout of each soccer season
• Assist Operations and Marketing departments as needed
• Occasional travel to Fort Wayne and South Bend Indiana
• Coach up to 20 sessions per season
