Position: JV Girls Soccer Coach

Location: Mt. Blue High School

Job Goal(s):

The Girls JV Soccer Coach is responsible for maintaining a focus on the team’s development and continuous improvement throughout the season, by directing student athletes at practice, during transportation, and at other schools or locations. The assistant coach is a primary role model of coaching for our staff, parents, community, and students and promotes and projects leadership qualities for all student-athletes.

Qualifications:

• High School level or college level playing or coaching experience
• Leadership and communication skills
• Positive attitude on a daily basis
• MPA Certified Coach
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• NFHS Certified (Sport Specific/Concussion)

Certifications:

• Valid CHRC

Performance Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling regular practice plans/programs
• Working closely with Head Coach on scheduling & game day logistics
• Managing equipment inventory
• Supporting and adhering to all School Policies and Expectations
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Education:

• Must be at least 20 years old with a High School Diploma

Reports To: Girls Soccer Head Coach and Athletic Director

Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District

Evaluation: Completed annually by Head Coach and Athletic Director

FLSA Status: Exempt/Non-exempt
