Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience at the high school or club level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of techniques, rules, and competitive strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Must pass background checks as required by the school district. The ability to meet all PUSD standards for hire, including, but not limited to, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, tuberculosis clearance, and valid CIF coaching certificates, including CPR/First Aid, Concussion in Sports, Fundamentals in Coaching, Heat Illness, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
