Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or club level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of softball techniques, rules and strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Must pass background checks and CIF coaching certificates including CPR/First Aid, Concussion in Sports, Fundamentals in Coaching, Heat Illness and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

The ability to meet all PUSD standards for hire including, but not limited to, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, tuberculosis clearing, and valid CIF coaching certificates including CPR/First Aid, Concussion in Sports, Fundamentals in Coaching, Heat Illness, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
