Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Coach Counselor for the Les Peters Academy in Saint Petersburg, FL. The program is a moderate risk residential facility for female youth aged 14–19, providing comprehensive care and evidence-based mental health services.

The role includes 24-hour supervision, behavior monitoring, and mentorship during activities. Compensation is $19 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance within 90 days, plus a 401(k) match after

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care role OR 60 college hours.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screening, and TB test.

Les Peters Academy is a moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.

Pay : $19 Per hour

What you will do: As a Coach Counselor, you will provide 24-hour security and supervision to ensure the safety of our Youth. You will monitor and document behaviors, monitor and join the Youth during Sports and Recreation time, and assist and mentor the youth while they learn and develop within the program.

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Have one-year experience working with at-risk youth in a direct care position OR 60 hours of college education
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening and TB Test.

Schedule: Our Youth Care Workers work 12-hour shifts.
