Job summary

NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) seeks an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor with an engineering degree for a 12‑month contract. The incumbent will apply ISO 9001 quality concepts, support contract administration, and contribute to project management and risk controls. Deployment to austere locations and English as the working language are expected.

The role requires proficiency in technical reporting and solid knowledge of Office tools and AutoCAD or related engineering software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master in an Engineering University degree.
• Experience in mechanical, or electrical, or civil engineering or maintenance disciplines or facility management.
• Proficiency in technical report writing.
• Experience in the administration of contracts and in project management.
• Experience in Risk Management.
• Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 principles.
• Experience working in deployed location and in austere conditions.
• Experience in technical management of NATO projects and/or similar experience.
• Good knowledge of information systems at end‑user level with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to express oneself orally and in writing proficiently.

Post Details

• This post is deployable. The incumbent may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
• Contract duration: 12 months
• Level: III
• Daily fee per worked day: 339 EUR

• In accordance with the NATO employment regulations, the contract will be established for a 6-month period.
• The working language will mainly be English.
