Job summary

Linde in Claremore, OK is seeking a skilled Plant Operator/Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain a CO₂ production plant safely and efficiently. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and equipment installation while following manuals and schematics.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, and rotating equipment, with collaboration across departments to ensure continuous production and adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred.
• 2+ years of production operations experience preferred.
• Proficient with I/E tools and instrument calibration equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and motors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CO₂ production plant safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and installations.
• Interpret manufacturer manuals to repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and one-line diagrams.
• Calibrate analyzers and field instrumentation; assist with control-system troubleshooting up to 600 VAC.
• Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Monitor process performance and adjust operations for optimal conditions.
• Ensure continuous product supply while meeting safety, environmental, quality, and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boilers, valves).
• Perform equipment alignments and support mechanical system reliability.
• Collaborate across departments to support operations and maintenance.

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and equipment installations.
• Interpret and apply manufacturer manuals to repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and one-line diagrams.
• Calibrate analyzers and field instrumentation; assist with troubleshooting control systems up to 600 VAC.
• Use computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Monitor process performance and adjust operations to maintain optimal conditions.
• Ensure continuous product supply while meeting safety, environmental, quality, and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boilers, and valves.
• Perform equipment alignments and support overall mechanical system reliability.
• Collaborate effectively across departments to support operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate degree in Applied Sciences, equivalent apprenticeship, or related experience (preferred).
• More than two (2+) years of production operations experience in an industrial environment (preferred).
• Proficient in using I/E tools, meters, and instrument calibration equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and processing/cooling equipment.
