Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a CO₂ production plant safely, reliably, and efficiently with a focus on production and instrumentation.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and equipment installations.
- Interpret and apply manufacturer manuals to repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and one-line diagrams.
- Calibrate analyzers and field instrumentation; assist with troubleshooting control systems up to 600 VAC.
- Use computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Monitor process performance and adjust operations to maintain optimal conditions.
- Ensure continuous product supply while meeting safety, environmental, quality, and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boilers, and valves.
- Perform equipment alignments and support overall mechanical system reliability.
- Collaborate effectively across departments to support operations and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate degree in Applied Sciences, equivalent apprenticeship, or related experience (preferred).
- More than two (2+) years of production operations experience in an industrial environment (preferred).
- Proficient in using I/E tools, meters, and instrument calibration equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, and processing/cooling equipment.
