Job summary

Linde Inc. in Decatur, AL is seeking a CO2 Production Technician to operate a Liquid Carbon Dioxide plant safely and efficiently, performing maintenance and repairs to keep the system reliable.

You will monitor process performance, adjust operating parameters, and collect data while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. Collaborative work with cross-functional teams and contractors is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes in an industrial environment with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge.
• Knowledge of control software and reading piping & instrumentation diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Safety-focused professional with ability to read and follow procedures and operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Liquid Carbon Dioxide plant safely to ensure reliable performance and maintenance.
• Monitor process performance, adjust parameters, and collect data to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using CMMS and ensure compliance with change-management requirements.
• Engage cross-functional teams, oversee contractors, and support improvements to maintenance strategies.
