Timberline Learning Center in Breckenridge, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Co-Teacher to support the Mentor Teacher in delivering a responsive, play-based daily program grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and strong family partnerships. You will co-design an emergent curriculum, document learning, and foster child-led investigations across ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in education or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience with children ages 0-6.
• Full-time, year-round availability.
• Pass comprehensive background check.

• Strong communication skills (oral, written, digital).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a welcoming, aesthetically rich environment responsive to children’s interests and developmental needs.
• Partner with co-teacher to plan and implement emergent, constructivist curriculum.
• Facilitate child-led investigations and document learning in journals and displays.
• Build relationships with children and families; communicate progress and updates.
• Mentor co-teacher and support staff; participate in team meetings and planning with leadership.
