Candidates must be undergraduates (sophomores or above), have at least 30 credit hours, and maintain a 2.5 GPA.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above)
• Able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Minneapolis, MN
• Minimum 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) completed
• Minimum 2.5 GPA maintained throughout the program
• Strong writing, oral communication and presentation skills required
• Proficient with basic PC skills and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Engage in a Co-op program across engineering and production/operational areas
• Complete three rotations: Spring 2027, Fall 2027 and Summer 2028
• Collaborate in a team to solve technical challenges
• Maintain safety-conscious behavior in all processes
• Possibly weekend or shift work as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

The Technical Operations Division at Delta Air Lines, Inc. has a student program that includes positions within engineering and some production/operational related areas of the organization. Technical Operations is seeking to fill several Co-Op opportunities with students studying in the following major disciplines:

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

• Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
• This position requires you to work for 3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
• Students must be able to complete 3 alternating rotations in Minneapolis, Minnesota in line with the below schedule:
• Spring 2027 - 1st rotation
• Fall 2027 - 2nd rotation
• Summer 2028 - 3rd rotation
• The Co-op position requires a candidate to be enrolled as an undergraduate (sophomore or above) that has successfully completed a minimum of 30 semester (45 quarter) hours.
• Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be able to maintain the minimum GPA.
• Candidate must be capable of working in a team environment to creatively solve technical problems.
• Candidate must also have the ability to complete assignments with minimum supervision.
• Good technical writing skills, oral communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge of basic PC skills and Microsoft Office software suite.
• Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• Some positions may require weekend and/or shift work
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
