Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a Drexel University co-op in Tank Integrity to support above-ground storage tank maintenance at multiple terminals. You will gain hands-on experience in an oil and gas environment, engaging with design, construction, and maintenance activities.

Under supervision, you will read inspection reports, develop scopes, coordinate with terminal managers, and ensure compliance with standards while contributing to project lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Drexel University’s Co-Op Program.
• Major in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to proof work for accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage time, travel arrangements, expense reports and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret tank inspection reports and develop scopes of work.
• Manage cleanings, inspections, and repairs for multiple tanks.
• Coordinate with terminal managers on scope, estimates, and budgets.
• Ensure work meets company and industry standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with Health Environmental and Safety on compliance.
• Maintain tank inspection calendars and update databases.
• Support continuous improvement within Tank Integrity Maintenance.
