Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks a Drexel University Engineering Co-Op to support regional tank integrity programs for above ground petroleum storage tanks at multiple terminals. You will gain hands-on experience in an operational oil and gas environment, focusing on design, construction and maintenance of large storage tanks.

Under supervision of an experienced Tank Integrity Manager, you will read inspection reports, develop scopes of work, coordinate with terminal managers and environmental professionals, and

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Drexel University's Co-Op Program
• Major in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field
• Strong attention to detail with ability to proof work for accuracy
• Ability to manage time, travel, expenses and deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in industrial operations

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting tank inspection reports and developing scopes of work
• Closely manage cleanings, inspections, and repairs for multiple tank projects
• Coordinate with terminal managers to develop project scopes and cost estimates
• Write Capital Requests and conduct pre-bid/pre-construction meetings
• Ensure work complies with company and industry standards
• Liaise with Health, Environmental and Safety about compliance
• Maintain tank inspection compliance calendars and databases
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Tank Integrity Maintenance
