Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking a Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering student to join its Chicago, IL team. You will assist in feasibility studies, design, and field work for land development projects, gaining hands-on experience under industry leaders.

You will work with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and collaborate across disciplines, developing technical report preparation and design skills while contributing to real-world projects and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and multitasking ability.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans and schedules.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for planning and design implications.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering and mathematics knowledge to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
