CO - OP Propulsion Engineer

Position Summary

Join SAS as a CO-OP Propulsion Engineer supporting different engineering projects. This hands-on role offers real-world experience in rocket propulsion systems, testing, and design.

Your Role

  • Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of propulsion systems
  • Support data collection, reduction, and reporting
  • Help create CAD models, drawings, and revisions
  • Participate in team meetings and design reviews
  • Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • Entering sophomore year or higher
  • Coursework in physics, engineering analysis, and strength of materials
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and basic engineering software

Preferred Skills

  • Internship or lab experience in propulsion or aerospace
  • Familiar with rocket systems or test operations
  • Understanding of ITAR or DoD environments is a plus

How You Will Be Rewarded

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the candidate’s level of education at the college level.

The background check will be required prior to any hire.
