CO - OP Propulsion Engineer

Position Summary
Join SAS as a CO-OP Propulsion Engineer supporting different engineering projects. This hands-on role offers real-world experience in rocket propulsion systems, testing, and design.
Your Role
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of propulsion systems
- Support data collection, reduction, and reporting
- Help create CAD models, drawings, and revisions
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations
Requirements
- Enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Entering sophomore year or higher
- Coursework in physics, engineering analysis, and strength of materials
- Familiarity with CAD tools and basic engineering software
Preferred Skills
- Internship or lab experience in propulsion or aerospace
- Familiar with rocket systems or test operations
- Understanding of ITAR or DoD environments is a plus
How You Will Be Rewarded
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the candidate’s level of education at the college level.
