Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Temporary Co-op Coordinator to support the department in placing students into curriculum-specific experiential-learning opportunities. The role emphasizes advising, record-keeping, event coordination, and collaboration with the Career Development Center.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree plus related training, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with potential substitution by relevant experience.
• Experience advising students on internships, co-ops, or job search is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and present information to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for Co-op program activities.
• Advise students on Co-op participation, onboarding, and policy compliance.
• Promote Co-op participation through information sessions with classes and student groups.
• Maintain records of student interest and enrollment in COP courses.
• Grade COP assignments and provide feedback within Moodle.
