Job summary

Re:Build Optimation is hiring a Process & Mechanical Engineer Co-op/Intern to support real-world projects in Rochester, NY and Rush, NY. You will assist with PFD/P&ID development, equipment specs, BOMs, and engineering calculations under mentorship.

You will also develop CAD drawings, contribute to technical reports, and engage in client meetings. Preference for CAD tools usage, process simulation, and prior internship experience. On-site with growth opportunities for Spring–Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PFD/P&ID development and equipment specs.
• Develop drawings and schematics using CAD tools.
• Prepare and support technical reports and project documentation.
• Work with a mentor to define personal and professional goals.
• Participate in internal and client project meetings and design reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute tasks.
