Job summary

GAF is offering co-op opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. The program lasts a school term with potential return terms, and includes competitive compensation and location-based living or relocation allowances.

Spring term requires full-time commitment for 6 months (Jan 2027–July 2027); optional combined Spring/Summer terms (June–Dec 2027) and a 3-month summer option for returning co-ops.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA and sophomore standing.
• Full-time availability for spring term (Jan–Jul 2027) and potential summer/combined terms.
• Willingness to generate concise technical reports and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing raw material quality assurance activities and material performance.
• Conducting problem solving investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Providing technical support and analytical analysis for material issues.
• Generating accurate technical reports and presenting findings.
