Job summary

MSD offers a Future Talent Program in Manufacturing through a six-month Engineering Co-op designed for college juniors and seniors. You’ll work on process engineering for pharmaceutical-grade equipment, supported by mentors and a buddy system.

Responsibilities include applying technical knowledge, data analysis, and troubleshooting, plus developing leadership and collaboration skills. The role is hybrid with domestic travel and a base location in DeSoto, Kansas.

Qualifications

• This position targets candidates in their Junior or Senior year at an accredited college/university.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemical, Biomedical, Mechanical, etc.). No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge, data analysis and troubleshooting skills in support of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facilities, in a team-based environment.
• Utilize superior communication and interpersonal skills, a team player with the ability to work independently.
• Develop leadership skills in diverse team building, vendor management, and process equipment development/design.
