Job summary

Peak Nano seeks a motivated R&D/Metrology Engineer in Cleveland, OH to support experimental design and processing testing for capacitor film materials. You will create experimental plans, facilitate testing, and analyze results to drive improvements in safety, reliability, and capacity of metrology equipment.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, communicate findings through data visualizations, and contribute to cross-functional troubleshooting and EH&S compliance on

Qualifications

• Must be located in the Cleveland, OH area
• Enrollment in a BS in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent
• R&D experience in a lab or industrial setting
• Experience with Data Analysis (MATLAB, JMP, Excel, Minitab, or equivalent)
• Experience with Instrumentation & Data Acquisition (LabVIEW, Flexlogger, DAQExpress or equivalent)
• Programming experience (Matlab, Python, or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Streamline test methods to reduce gauge variation and increase capacity
• Collaborate with technicians to write clear and concise work instructions for new test methods
• Provide experimental design support and performance evaluation of capacitor film; create experimental plans and facilitate processing/testing
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design and implement equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, capability, and/or capacity of metrology testing equipment
• Use data analysis and presentation tools to communicate experimental design, results, and conclusions to internal cross-functional teams
• Participate in cross-functional FMEA and troubleshooting efforts
• Understand and implement EH&S standards on all manufacturing and testing equipment and promote safe work habits
