Summary

The Pricing Analyst Co‑op will play an important role in supporting the development of pricing strategies across the company’s packaging product lines. This position will combine analytical work with strategic exposure—helping to assess pricing versus competitors, organize intelligence gathered from bids and customers, and contribute to building a global pricing framework. The role offers hands‑on experience in how pricing decisions impact profitability, competitiveness, and market growth in the flexible and rigid packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities
Product Line Pricing Assessment
  • Analyze existing price levels by product line and identify key drivers for pricing across multiple packaging product – volumes, MOQ’s, printing, custom etc.
  • Compare internal pricing to competitor benchmarks and customer value propositions where available
  • Identify trends, gaps, and pricing opportunities to inform business decisions.

Key Outcome: Deliver a Product Line Pricing Report that highlights margin opportunities, competitive positioning, and recommendations for improvement.

Bid & Market Intelligence Capture
  • Review customer bids and proposals to extract key pricing insights.
  • Create and maintain a database of bid results and competitor quotes by region, product type, and customer segment.
  • Support development of a standardized template to collect and summarize competitive data.

Key Outcome: Establish a “Pricing Intelligence Tracker” to be used across commercial teams for consistent tracking of bid outcomes and competitor movements.

Global Pricing Framework Support
  • Collaborate with the Global Pricing Manager to formalize a consistent pricing governance model.
  • Help document price approval workflows, escalation points, and margin targets.
  • Contribute to the creation of training or communication materials that support rollout of the new framework.

Key Outcome: Deliver a draft Global Pricing Framework with documentation of key policies, approval steps, and reporting templates for leadership review.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Marketing (Junior/Senior preferred).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with data and Excel models.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or packaging industries a plus.
  • Curiosity to understand market dynamics and customer buying behavior.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to collaborate across marketing, sales, and operations.
