Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation in Dickinson, ND, is offering a six-month Co-op for students pursuing engineering or construction management. You will gain hands-on experience performing materials testing (soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt) and work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are met.

The program includes a three-day training event covering construction safety, ACI certification, radiation safety, and ASTM/AASHTO/ACI standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 6-month full-time co-op commitment.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt.
• Onsite materials testing on construction projects with PMs and technicians.
• Gain field experience and communicate with construction crews.
• Participate in 3‑day training including safety, ACI certification, and density gauge training.
• Be paired with a professional engineer as a mentor.
• Learn ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC and DOT standards.
