Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking students pursuing degrees in engineering, construction management, or related field for a 6-month Co-op in our Dallas, CO office. The role focuses on field testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt with training and professional mentorship.

Ideal candidates are college students in engineering or construction management who can lift 75+ pounds, work outdoors, and commit to six months from mid-May to December.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6-months from mid-May to December.
• The ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• A 'working safe' attitude and mindset.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Onsite materials testing on various projects while coordinating with project managers and technicians to ensure specs are followed.
• Gain field experience and onsite communication with construction crews.
• Learn procedures and gain exposure to industry standards (ACI, ASTM, AASHTO, ICC, DOT).
