Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree and be returning to school after the position.
Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from January-August, May/June-December, or August-December.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of liquid-handling robotics used across PMPD labs.
Build and test 3-D printed lab tooling and fixtures.
Contribute to automation projects spanning upstream, downstream, and analytics teams.
Write and test basic programming scripts to support automation workflows.
Provide hands‑on lab support alongside automation development work.
Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues as they arise.
Collaborate with engineers and scientists across multiple teams.
Document automation processes and improvements.
