Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical & Biomedical), Computer Science, or related field.
• Willingness to relocate to Cambridge, MA and work 40 hours/week during co‑op.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for this period.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated laboratory workflows using robotics platforms and integrated instruments.
• Configure and optimize automated systems to meet experimental requirements.
• Write, test, and debug scripts for laboratory automation systems using Python, LabVIEW, or other automation software.
• Develop interfaces between laboratory instruments and data management systems.
• Connect and integrate various analytical instruments with laboratory automation platforms.
• Ensure seamless data transfer between automated systems and Sanofi's data management infrastructure.
• Analyze existing manual laboratory processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with scientists to translate manual procedures into automated protocols.
