Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Delivery - Projects Co-Op within Lifecycle Services (LCS) to support technology delivery from design to startup on large and medium scale automation projects. You will review electrical and P&ID drawings, test network configurations, and help create customer training materials while learning project delivery software and methods.

You will gain hands-on experience in industrial automation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to meeting customer

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
• Interned with Rockwell Automation or met us through an event.
• GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to approach challenges with innovative solutions.
• Proven experience collaborating with and leading others to achieve project goals, prioritizing competing tasks and presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
• Experience with industrial automation, electrical wiring or P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support Rockwell Automation technology delivery operations from design to startup as part of large and medium scale automation projects for customers.
• Review and correct electrical and/or P&ID drawings.
• Assure project work meets customer specifications by testing network configurations, HMI screens and electrical connectivity of devices etc.
• Help create training material for customers to satisfy project delivery requirements.
• Learn project delivery and management software's and procedures used to manage large scale projects.
• Learn industrial automation project delivery methods and concepts.

Job Description January - August 2027 Full-time Co-op Internships within Lifecycle Services (LCS) provide unique opportunities to develop your engineering, analytical, and customer‑centric skills.

As a Delivery - Projects Co-Op you will…

• Support Rockwell Automation technology delivery operations from design to startup as part of large and medium scale automation projects for customers
• Review and correct electrical and/or P&ID drawings
• Assure project work meets customer specifications by testing network configurations, HMI screens and electrical connectivity of devices etc.
• Help create training material for customers to satisfy project delivery requirements
• Learn project delivery and management software's and procedures used to manage large scale projects.
• Learn industrial automation project delivery methods and concepts

Required Availability

• Availability for 40 hours a week (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
• Co-Ops: Mid-January - Mid August

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Interned with Rockwell Automation or met us through an event
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Proven experience collaborating with and leading others to achieve project goals, prioritizing competing tasks and presenting complex information to diverse audiences
• Experience with industrial automation, electrical wiring or P&ID drawings
