Job summary
The Volvo Group Supply Chain Optimization Internship in North America offers hands-on experience building and enhancing data analytics tools for Demand and Inventory Planning. You will work with SCO NA teams on projects that impact how we forecast demand and manage inventory, using Power BI and Python/R to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mathematics/Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Completed at least 30 semester hours before internship start and GPA 2.75+.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Power BI, Python and/or R experience preferred.
- Interest in Logistics / Supply Chain, data science, and modeling concepts.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Power BI, Python/R to visualize demand and inventory data for supply chain parameter changes.
- Develop data structures to improve data accessibility, quality and efficiency.
- Improve existing supply chain optimization models (total cost, forecast parameters) in Python/R.
- Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
