Job summary

Bracebridge Capital, LLC, a Boston-based investment firm, is offering a co‑op in the Quantitative Research department. The role reports to the Manager of the ABS Business Intelligence group and covers data acquisition, development, testing, and maintenance across a growing framework.

You will build new apps, reports, and automated tests, enhance tools analyzing preproduction performance, and help expand the framework to new providers and asset classes while improving documentation.

Qualifications

• Top academic credentials in pursuit of a MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems.
• Experience with .NET development platform preferred.
• Experience with C# or Java.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• SQL skills.
• Ability to critically evaluate and improve current processes.
• Proven ability to produce quality work under time pressure.
• Excellent technical skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Learn, maintain, support and enhance the existing data acquisition framework.
• Create new applications, reports and automated tests using the existing framework.
• Design and maintain tools to analyze the performance of preproduction code.
• Build out the data acquisition framework for new providers and asset classes.
• Improve product documentation.
