Job summary

Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking an Accounting Co-op to gain hands-on experience supporting our accounting team. You’ll have the opportunity to work with month-end and annual close processes, Accounts Payable and Receivable, financial reporting, reconciliations, and treasury activities while learning from experienced accounting professionals.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting who is looking to build their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Position Overview

Cincinnati incorporated is looking for an Accounting Co-op that would like to gain experience in the daily operations of the accounting function, including Month End and Annual Closing processes, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and providing treasury support. This position works closely with all members of our accounting department.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the financial reporting process and the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial data, statements, reports and supporting documentation
• Reconcile assigned general ledger and bank accounts in a timely basis
• Manage the customer refund and rebate processes
• Responsible for booking daily bank activity into the general ledger
• Support the team with the monthly presentation of financial statement information to the CFO
