Job summary

Community Counseling Center (CCC) in Marble Hill, MO is seeking an ITCD counselor to deliver counseling and education within a co‑occurring disorders program. Responsibilities include group sessions, family education, individual counseling, and client assessments.

Requirements include a QAP credential and either a Bachelor's degree with SUD experience or a Master's with 1 year of SUD experience. A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP).
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years' SUD experience or Master's with 1 year SUD experience.
• Must hold valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ITCD counseling and education groups.
• Educate family members of ITCD clients.
• Provide individual ITCD counseling.
• Complete supplemental assessments for ITCD clients.
• Make appropriate referrals.
• Attend ITCD multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Document according to policies and procedures.

Location:Marble Hill, MO

Full Time: Exempt

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, some evening hours maybe required dependent upon client and agency need.

Base Pay: $45,120.00 - $50,107.20/Year (Depending on experience)

Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) - An individual who meets the applicable training and credentialing required by the MO Credentialing Board for any of the following Credentials:

• Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC), or
• Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC), or
• Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor, (CRAADC), or
• Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP), or
• Co – Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP), or
• Co - Occurring Disorders Professional – Diplomat (CCDP – D), or
• Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor – Provisional (RADC - P), or
• Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)

a. Note: Typically, if you do not currently have a credential listed above, this is the minimum requirements to obtain: Bachelor'sDegree the 3 years' experience working with SUD population; or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience working with SUD population.

Plus

• Must hold Valid Driver's License (Class E for Missouri or Class D for IL Residents - Obtain on start date) and current continuous auto insurance.

The Program:

The Integrated Treatment for Co - Occurring Disorders (ITCD) model is an evidence - based practice that improves the quality of life for people with severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders (co - occurring) by combining mental health and substance use services. ITCD emphasizes that individuals achieve big changes in sobriety, symptom management, and independent living via a series of small overlapping, incremental changes that occur overtime.

ITCD is a multidisciplinary approach involving pharmacological, psychological, educational and social interventions to address the needs of consumers and family members. ITCD promotes involvement of consumer and family in service delivery.

ITCD philosophy understands that recovery looks different for everyone and that for some consumers the goal may be abstinence, others it maybe harm reduction. We will meet our consumer wherever they are at and work with them to meet their goals.

Job Duties:

1. Facilitate ITCD counseling and education groups.
2. Work to provide education to family members of ITCD consumers.
3. Provide Individual Counseling ITCD clients.
4. Complete supplemental assessments for ITCD clients.
5. Make appropriate referrals.
6. Attend ITCD multi-disciplinary team meetings.
7. Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
8. Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
