As a Co‑Occurring Specialist, you will work within the Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team in Cherry Hill, Camden County, NJ. This community‑based program provides comprehensive, integrated rehabilitation, treatment, and support services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness who have had repeated hospitalizations and are at serious risk for psychiatric hospitalization.
The mission of the PACT program is to decrease hospitalizations, increase vocational opportunities, and improve the quality of life for our consumers. PACT services are the most intensive level of outpatient services in the community.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 830a-5p with 30 minute unpaid lunch; weekends as needed
Pay: $50,000-$60,000 based on licensure
A fully integrated member of the PACT team who provides clinical assessment, service planning, wellness counseling, case management and associated documentation as required to meet client needs. The Co‑Occurring Specialist shall provide highly individualized services for persons served offered in individual and group modalities. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field plus two years post‑Degree experience providing dual disorder services to individuals with co‑occurring serious and persistent mental illness and substance abuse;
The Co‑Occurring Specialist shall hold the professional credentials required by the NJ Alcohol and Drug Licensing and Certification Counseling Committee (i.e. CADC/LCADC).
