Job summary

Premier Nutrition Company (PNC) is seeking a Co‑Manufacturing Quality Manager to evaluate plant quality, partner with suppliers, review specifications, and ensure co‑manufacturing compliance. Travel up to 50% is required. The role reports to the Associate Director, Co‑Manufacturing Quality, in Emeryville, CA.

The work involves auditing, CAPA resolution, QA strategy development, and collaboration with R&D and operations to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
• FSMA compliant PCQI Certification.
• 5+ years of QA experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, in a food and processing environment

Responsibilities

• Owns and resolves Co‑Man related CAPA(s).
• Audits with co-manufacturers; on-site audits for foods, dietary supplements, finished goods, warehouses and services.
• Reviews product specifications, approves new manufacturing locations, and ensures compliance with specs and packaging.
• Reviews and approves product specifications, documents, and artwork; ensures product is produced as designed by R&D.
• Ensures co-manufacturing compliance to regulations and coordinates recalls/withdrawals.
• Supports new product/change documentation and deployment of QA strategies.
