This Teacher shares responsibilities with a Co-Lead Teacher to engage a class of 4-year-olds in play-based activities that support emerging skills. They foster social/emotional development through the use of positive guidance. This teaching team collaborates on curriculum planning and preparation, classroom management, developmental assessments, and professional communication with parents.
o Must be a high school graduate and at least 18 years old
o Must have a minimum of 18 credits in early childhood or elementary education or other field of studyfocused on children.
o Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a preschool-aged or kindergarten classroom, after school program, or summer camp.
o Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
