Kimberly-Clark Corporation in New Milford, CT, seeks a Co-Gen Lead I to operate and maintain cogeneration utilities, boilers, turbines and water treatment systems on a rotating shift. You will lead the utilities team, develop SOPs, train staff, and coordinate with utilities and vendors to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Requirements include 5 years in a cogeneration plant, high school diploma, and preferred CT OE-2 license; SAP experience and strong leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent military MOS preferred.
  • Five years of experience in a cogeneration power plant with operation, maintenance and repair.
  • CT OE-2 Operating Stationary Engineer license preferred.
  • Experience with power distribution, DCS, instrumentation and pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead utilities operation for Co-Gen, BoHo, chiller farm and water treatment.
  • Provide on-shift leadership, assign work, and direct daily plans.
  • Develop SOPs, train crews, and enforce safety standards.
  • Coordinate with external electric/gas utilities, ISO-NE and on-site vendors.
  • Supervise and develop less experienced operators; participate in outages.
