Job summary

Responsible AIxBio Collaborative is seeking a co-founder to help lead a new nonprofit shaping AI x bio governance. We have early funding and ~ten workstreams launching soon, requiring hands-on leadership and clear decision-making.

You will work with frontier AI and life sciences partners to convene stakeholders, build governance foundations, and guide strategy while maintaining flexibility as lanes form.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience at a founding or executive level.
• Strong track record in multi-stakeholder collaboration.
• Fundraising and grant management experience.
• Policy, standards, or governance work in AI/bio.
• Credibility and relationships in AI, biosecurity, tech policy, or adjacent field.

Responsibilities

• Own decisions and consequences across strategy, stakeholders, hiring, and positioning.
• Convene stakeholders and build governance foundations to catalyze safety work.
• Read the landscape and forecast tech and policy shifts to adjust activities.
• Take workstreams end to end and identify gaps or missing pieces.
• Hire the early team and help shape culture and scale the organization.
