Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or data infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of MLOps and infrastructure as code.

Our platform leverages machine learning to optimize 90-day fills, automate refill eligibility, and drive intelligent inventory decisions for pharmacies and hospitals. We're live with pilot customers and ready to scale.

We’re looking for a mission-aligned, execution-focused CTO to join as a co-founder and lead the next chapter of RxData’s journey.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the product and technology roadmap from MVP to enterprise-scale platform
• Architect, build, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for forecasting, refill optimization, and compliance automation
• Lead the design and automation of data pipelines and infrastructure across Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Functions) and Microsoft Azure (Azure ML, Data Factory)
• Oversee the use of tools like Databricks, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to support MLOps, model serving, and infrastructure as code
• Hire, mentor, and manage a growing team of engineers and data scientists
• Collaborate closely with the CEO on product development, partnerships, and investor conversations
• Represent RxData’s technical strategy to advisors, VCs, and enterprise customers
• Move fast, iterate quickly, and continuously improve product-market fit based on real user feedback

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or data infrastructure
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models using tools like BigQuery ML, Databricks, Azure ML, or Vertex AI
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers
• Experience building and automating modern data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, Spark, and pandas
• Strong understanding of MLOps and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes (GKE/AKS)
• Familiar with observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and native logging/alerting in GCP and Azure
• Comfortable managing cloud environments and services across Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) and Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage)
• Bonus: experience working with pharmacy systems, PBMs, EHRs, or regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, DEA, or FDA
